November didn't fit my writing plans, but December-to-January does.
I've been writing a new First 50 Pages for BRIAR-BOUND. The plan is to submit them to Chris, who will submit them early next year to folks familiar with the project. In the meantime, I'm going to hold a personal NaNo to draft the rest of the revised novel. When I know what my time frame will be for the writing, I'll post it.
How about you? Did you participate in NaNoWriMo? How'd you do? Do you like what you wrote?
Not able to do NaNo, but still interested in a challenge? Say so, and we can work out some daily/weekly goals!

We're here cheering you on. Go, Shannon, Go!!!
No NaNo for me either. Good cheer and Happy WRiting to you!
I did NaNo, and made my 50,000 word goal. I've locked it away for now, but will come back to it in January. I think it will be at least workable (hmmm...perhaps, I'm being too optimistic?). November is such a crazy month for NaNo, but so is December come to think of it ;) -- holidays and a lot going on.
Good luck to you!
Oh, nononono. No NaNo for me. But I did a sort of thing like what you're doing--used it for revising and rewriting.
Cole and Jody - thanks!
Amanda - congrats! Great work! January's a good interval of time to go back and have another look. Let us know how it goes.
Beth - I've been revising so much - it's been a while since I wrote new stuff freely.
I'm in the same boat. Nano wasn't in the cards this year as I had to focus on finishing a second draft, so I'll be doing my own nano during Jan/Feb to whip out the finale of my series. Very much looking forward to it!
Good luck with your goal-achieving!
Marissa - best of luck, and thanks!
