...and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm in that post-read mental hangover where thoughts and feelings on the book are jumbled and fighting for attention.
I liked some things.
Other things bothered me.
I suspect I know how this one's going to fall out, though: I'm ready to start a new book tonight.
Do you take time after finishing a book to think it over? Or do you generally begin another right away? Or do you usually have several going at once?

Finished reading a book...

4 ate pie:
I think it depends on the book. Some are a good quick snack while others are a full meal.
Normally I read one at once, but now that I have the Kindle, I'll read a paper book and an e-book at the same time. Even if a book inspires some thought, I don't take time off; I just move on to the next book and think about the previous one in spare moments.
All of the above. It totally depends on the book. Some necessitate a pause after reading, others don't. Most of the time I can't read more than one, but sometimes I can - so long as one is fiction and the other is nonfiction.
Jody - and sometimes, I need to get the taste out of my mouth. :)
Sandra - same here: a digital and a paper book at once.
Julie - it is easier to switch between fic + nonfic.
