On the Road

Your pie maker's on vacation, as of now!

(Please don't rob my house.)

(If you do rob my house, TAKE EVERYTHING, and I'll just stay in France. Win-win.)

I'll post photos at Nomads Unlimited, so check there!

Next Tuesday, young adult author Beth Revis will post an interview with me to her awesome blog, Writing It Out. Put her in your feed to get the goodness. And add her book, ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, to your queue; it comes out from Razorbill next spring!

Today is normally fitness/health day here at daily pie, so I'll just say this: we've packed our running clothes. We will counter this dubious decision by ingesting  A LOT of local cheese and red wine.

See you on the Nomads blog...

France is absolutely one of my most favorite places on the planet. I will imagine you eating a croissant, laughing while your house is robbed. Oh, but a real French croissant is worth a good house robbing...or not. Still, they're quite good. As are the crepes filled with nutella. Excuse me while I go wipe the drool off my chin.

I enjoyed your interview on Beth's blog, by the way. Very inspirational.

Enjoy your holiday. I hope you post some pictures when you get back.

Hey, thanks for commenting on my blog! I love meeting other middle grade writers, since there seems to be more YA bloggers. Congrats on being agented! So cool.

Thanks, everyone. I hope to post pix this weekend - internet was too spotty on the trip to do it in real time.

Krissy - I'm so using "peanut butter + jealous" - soon, before I forget it. :)

Carolina - My standby croissant is chocolate, but we started trying almond croissants + fell in love. Will have to find here, or make them myself. Also, thanks for the kind words re: Beth's interview - glad you enjoyed it!

Laura - I know what you mean about finding MG authors. MG is the new YA, say I. :)
