Goals 2009
- get JACK ready to sell
- outline JACK sequel
- finish DOG-BOY (current status: draft 1 complete)
- design author website
- write 4 short stories
- attend Writer's League of Texas annual conference (registered)
- maintain + rejuvenate local SCBWI chapter blog
- explore middle-grade literature
- do cardio + strength workouts 5x/wk (swimming counts as both)
- weight down to ~132 (by end of May, @ 3 lbs/mo)
- reduce body fat (need initial measurements)
- writing: take revisions workshop (registered)
- French: regain my 4-yr competence
- German: achieve 2-yr competence
- graphics: learn simple manipulation to produce icons, banners, etc
- assuage Ladybug fever (chronic condition)
- attend Bevis family reunion (it's been 16 yrs - I miss my aunts/uncles)
- leave the country for at least 2 weeks
