Dave's been making some awesome julienned salads -- perfect for hot-weather dinners. Yesterday, he found these soy wrappers...
...which he used to make Asian-dressed vegetable rolls. The wrappers don't have much flavor, but they don't taste bad, either. They're flexible right out of the package, and they come in neat colors. I think they're gluten-free (check the ingredients at that link above, GFers). And if you're counting nutrients, they have 1g carb and 2g protein each...

They did soak through, as you can see, so a drier filling would be good. The package suggests using them as an alternative to nori for making sushi rolls. They do seem ideal for containing sticky rice.
Did I mention the pretty colors?

Thanks, Shan. Those look good.
They're easier to use right away than the spring roll wrappers you have to soak, though they're smaller -- about 4" by 7", and rectangular.
