Woo-hoo! Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book just won the Newbery Medal.
He's already blogged the early morning phone call here.
If you're on Twitter, his tweets were hilarious.
I just read this book for Middle Grade Madness. Loved it. Very happy for Mr. Gaiman.

Oh, wow! I had not heard of that yet!
This is a much-delayed response, but I listened to The Graveyard Book on mp3 narrated by Mr. Gaiman, himself. I thought this was super-cool because he wrote the story for his daughters to be read at bedtime (if I remember correctly).
Sweet, eh? And I bet the mp3 was great.
I like your "Middle Grade Madness" idea. Someday I'm going to read all the Newbery winners.
Thanks - I figured I could combine a need for market research w/ some awesome children's literature.
